this is the only update i have time for anymore

1. the nose is pierced, and it is so cute.
2. jerusalem has this INCREDIBLE international arts and crafts fair (think like world of nations times like fifty and kosher too) and i had quite possibly the best night i had since i got here. food, peformances, the good ness was overflowing.
3. i talk to a certain someone on the phone a lot. in fact, i am actually spending the weekend at his cousin's house, at this yishuv north of jerusalem. hmm. this is all interesting. but classic shayna. i think his aunt and uncle think we are dating. unclear. whatever. they have a gorgeous house.
4. i went to a class on judaism and the environment, and it was taught but one of the most beautiful creatures i have ever seen in the jewish tribe. i talked to him for 15ish minutes or so after the class, and he gave me his email address so he can send me more sources. (and hopefully ask me out.)
5. i went to the cutest resturant ever for brunch this morning, filled with books (even the menus have the cover of different books) and yumminess and the plates even have literary quotes on them. plus, it was vegetarian. plus it was SO GOOD. and i ate a lot. but not so much that i couldn't stop at the gelato place (gelato rocks my world...i have a frewuent buyer card...) and eat some yumminess. campbell, you would have LOVED it. try go get a cheap flight to israel. =).
6. the above activity was done with the israeli drishettes, who i really miss. and i got my sweatshirt today, the proper mark of any summer program. yay.
7. i've started to dress like an israeli hippie.

sunday: shayna visits the ministry of the interior, and begs them for a student visa. pray for me.
